If you find a book in Trinity&#8217;s collection you may:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.trincoll.edu\/lits\/spaces\/building-map\/\">Find in the stacks by call number<\/a> and use our Self Check Out station on Level A near the Library &amp; Information Technology Desk. You must use your Trinity ID.<\/li>\n<li>Request that the book be pulled from the shelf by staff and held for you to pick up near the desk. In OneSearch from the book record:\n<ul>\n<li>Log in to see options<\/li>\n<li>Select Request Options &gt; Request<\/li>\n<li>The item will be checked out to you and staff will notify you when the item is ready for pick up<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"ms-rteElement-P\">Any book that is checked out for more than 7 days may be <strong>recalled<\/strong> by another user.\u00a0 Once that period has passed, the current borrower is sent a notice requesting that the item be returned by a specific date.\u00a0 Once returned, it will be held for the next user for pickup at the Library &amp; Information Technology Desk.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Your Trinity ID functions as your borrowing card and can be used to check out books.<\/h4>\n<h3>When Trinity Doesn&#8217;t Have the Book You Need<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Borrow from libraries around the world using<a href=\"https:\/\/trincoll.hosts.atlas-sys.com\/illiad\/\"> Interlibrary Loan.<\/a> <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Ask the library to <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/Pages\/ResponsePage.aspx?id=aqDNptlSckauH_b5yfFON4UT2TUNZM9LgyYFL0Ej_0VUNkZQNlNRRVBNRlE4QlEwOVFXSTdPNUI2UC4u\">Purchase<\/a> the book<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Library Materials for Course Reserve<\/h3>\n<p>We can assist faculty in preparing library-owned content to be used in courses. We have a variety of options for using <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trincoll.edu\/lits\/libraries\/collections\/streaming-video\/\">streaming video<\/a>, and we can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trincoll.edu\/lits\/for-faculty\/digitization-requests\/\">digitize print materials<\/a>. Also, see also our guide on <a href=\"https:\/\/courseguides.trincoll.edu\/courses\">&#8220;Sharing Course Materials&#8221;<\/a> for guidance on Fair use and copying for educational purposes.<\/p>\n<h3>Check Your Accounts<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/ctw-tc.primo.exlibrisgroup.com\/discovery\/account?vid=01CTW_TC:CTWTC&amp;section=overview&amp;lang=en\">Log in to your borrower&#8217;s account<\/a> through OneSearch to check what books you have checked out and pending requests.<\/p>\n<h3>Submit your publications to the library<\/h3>\n<p><span class=\"text-format-content \">Trinity&#8217;s Libraries &amp; Digital Learning staff aim to collect publications as a means of preserving and showcasing the exceptional legacy of research, scholarship, and creative work at Trinity. Faculty and staff are encouraged to <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/r\/H7dJg5W9D8\">complete the publication submission form<\/a> to help us add their publications to our collection.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Request materials through the SGA Special Fund for Library Materials<\/h3>\n<p>In 2021 the Library received a generous financial donation from the SGA to be used to help students with the cost of research. Funds from this donation may be used to purchase:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Course texts that all students may access<\/li>\n<li>Books, data sets, or access to digital resources for a research project or senior thesis.
