For access to library databases and online journals, do not use VPN, but use the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.trincoll.edu\/lits\/help-support\/tech-support\/network\/access-library-resources-from-off-campus\/\">library instructions for EZProxy<\/a> instead.<\/p>\n<p>These instructions are for Mac OS 13 and higher. To check what version of Mac OS you have, click on the <strong>Apple<\/strong> menu in the upper left hand corner and select\u00a0<strong>About This Mac<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>NOTE: If you installed Forticlient before and currently have an earlier version that is no longer working on your computer, find the Forticlient folder on your computer. In that folder will be an Uninstaller. Run the uninstaller and restart your computer. You should then be able to install the latest version of Forticlient.<\/p>\n<p>1.) Please <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fortinet.com\/support\/product-downloads#vpn\">download the Mac FortiClient for VPN<\/a> to your computer. Select the <strong>Forticlient VPN only option from the list<\/strong> of available products (not the whole suite of Forticlient applications).<\/p>\n<p>2.) Follow the instructions for the installation. Once the installation is successful, you may close the window.<\/p>\n<p>3.) Launch the FortiClient.app from the Applications menu.<\/p>\n<p>4.) Accept the terms and conditions. Click on <strong>Configure VPN<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>5.) Enter the following information to configure VPN:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>VPN Type: SSL VPN\u00a0<\/strong>tab selected<\/li>\n<li><strong>Connection Name: Trinity VPN<\/strong> (or a name of your choosing)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Remote Gateway: waldo.trincoll.edu\u00a0<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Check the <strong>Enable Single Sign On (SSO) for VPN Tunnel<\/strong> box<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>6.) Click <strong>Save<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>7.) Click <strong>SAML Login<\/strong>. A new window will open prompting you for your Trinity username@trincoll.edu and your Trinity password. Once authenticated, this window will disappear and you will be connected.<\/p>\n<p>8.) To disconnect, click <strong>Disconnect<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Additional installers for other devices can be found at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fortinet.com\/support\/product-downloads\">https:\/\/www.fortinet.com\/support\/product-downloads<\/a>. Please download ONLY the \u201cForticlient VPN only&#8221; option.
