Her research focuses on the Modern and Contemporary Global Hispanophone \u2014African and Asian literature in Spanish\u2014Archipelagic and Peripheral Studies, postcolonial insular voices, race issues, and colonialism&#8217;s repercussions in 21st-century Spanish culture.
