You can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trincoll.edu\/greenberg-center\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/48\/2026\/03\/Greenberg-Fellows-Application-2026-1.pdf\">learn more and find the application here<\/a>.<\/h3>\n<h4>2025-2026 Fellows<\/h4>\n<h6><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Senior Fellows\u00a0<\/span><\/h6>\n<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">These fellows from the class of 2026 will participate in Greenberg Center events, while completing a research project that will be presented on at the end of the year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Shazif Ahmed &#8217;26 <\/strong>is a Computer Science and Religious Studies double major and a Film Studies minor. His research interests include the in<span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">tersections between religion, public policy, and technology \u2014especially through digital tools like AI and storytelling platforms that make complex religious traditions accessible to diverse communities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Henry Graf &#8217;26<\/strong> is an Economics major and Religious Studies minor. He is interested in <span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">exploring the similarities and differences in how various cultural groups in the Hartford area practice Christianity, focusing on how tradition and community shape their expressions of the religion, how religious themes are portrayed in pop culture media, specifically in movies and television shows.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Amber Gray &#8217;26<\/strong> is a Public Policy &amp; Law and Religious Studies double major. Her research <span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\"> interests are mass incarceration, restorative justice, early intervention techniques, systemic racism, prison abolition, religion in prisons, religious influence on American prisons, LGBTQ+ rights, labor rights, economic liberation.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Melanie Rayl &#8217;26<\/strong> is a English and Religious Studies double major. Her research interests include <span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">religion and its formative role in multiple sides of debates and beliefs within environmentalism in addition to other political issues.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ella Samson &#8217;26<\/strong> is an Anthropology major and their research interests are <span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">African traditional religions, religion and mental illness or other altered states of consciousness.<\/span><\/p>\n<h6><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Junior Fellows <\/span><\/h6>\n<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">These fellows will participate in Greenberg Center events, and will developing a research project to be conducted in a future year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_elementToProof\"><b data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Jessica-Milagros\u00a0<\/b><b>Salinas Rodriguez \u201927 <\/b>is a double major in Political Science and Pyschology. Her research interests include <span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Colonization, Catholicism, how religions are practiced differently across the world.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\"><strong>Nicholas C. Hanson \u00a0\u201928<\/strong> is a Religious Studies and History double major. His research interests include progressive Christianity, interfaith dialogue and relations.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<h6><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Advisory Fellows <\/span><\/h6>\n<p><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">These returning fellows will remain on as supportive and engaged collaborators, and may continue some research.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Alexander Cacciato Dec.&#8217;25<\/strong> is a History and International Studies double major. His project researched <span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">Trinity and its ties to colonization.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Frieda Seo &#8217;26<\/strong> is a Philosophy and Religious Studies double major and pursuing a German minor. She r<span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">esearched and surveyed self-censorship on campus.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Anna Szesnat &#8217;26 <\/strong>\u00a0is double majoring in Religious Studies and Public Policy &amp; Law. She created a digital archive of\u00a0<i>Religion in the News\u00a0<\/i>with topical, geographical, and chronological categories. You can <a href=\"https:\/\/religioninthenewsdigitalarchive.wordpress.com\/about\/\">visit her archive here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><b>Previous Fellows\/Editorial Assistants<\/b><\/h4>\n<p><strong>Daniyah Ali &#8217;25\u00a0<\/strong>is a Religious Studies and Women, Gender &amp; Sexuality Studies double major. She researched what it would look like to implement a Hindu Students Association as a student organization on campus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Surya Rai &#8217;25 <\/strong>has been a fellow since his first year at Trinity. He is double majoring in Political Science and Religious Studies, and <span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">worked with Greater Hartford Interfaith Action Alliance and Grace to create presentation on interfaith environmental activism initiatives and their importance, you can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trincoll.edu\/greenberg-center\/undergraduate-fellows-editorial-assistants\/greenberg-fellows-project\/\">learn more here<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Grace Sullivan &#8217;25 <\/strong>is a Environmental Science and Public Policy &amp; Law double major. She has been a fellow since her sophomore year. Grace w<span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\">orked with Greater Hartford Interfaith Action Alliance and Surya to create presentation on interfaith environmental activism initiatives and their importance, you can <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trincoll.edu\/greenberg-center\/undergraduate-fellows-editorial-assistants\/greenberg-fellows-project\/\">learn more here<\/a>. Post-graduation, she will continue some research with the Center for Leadership and Justice (CLJ) on a shortened project, and working in compliance for a manufacturing company in Texas. She also aspires to attend law school starting in Fall 2027.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\n<p><b>Jack Carroll &#8217;24 <\/b>was an undergraduate fellow who graduated with honors in political science, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa. During his time at Trinity, Jack also served as Managing Editor of The Trinity Tripod and President of the Trinity College Pre-Law Society. Jack is currently working as a paralegal in Connecticut to gain experience in the field of law.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:alex_lewis@brown.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>Alex Lewis &#8217;24<\/b><\/a> was an undergraduate fellow with a major in Public Policy and Law and a minor in Religious Studies from Burrillville, RI. He is currently pursuing a MPA from Brown University where he is specializing in religious policy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Matin Yaquibi &#8217;23<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b>Han Lynch \u201822\u00a0<\/b>was an undergraduate fellow from Edinburgh UK. She majored in Religion and Political Science.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Seamus &#8220;Kip&#8221; Lynch &#8217;22\u00a0<\/strong>was an undergraduate fellow. He has since graduated with a MPhil in Early Modern History from Trinity College Dublin.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><b>Brendan Clark \u201821 <\/b>was\u00a0an\u00a0undergraduate fellow from West Barnstable, Massachusetts majoring in History and Public Policy and Law and minoring in Religious Studies. Brendan is now a corporate litigation associate attorney at Richards, Layton &amp; Finger, P.A. in Wilmington, Delaware. Brendan pursued his J.D. after Trinity at William &amp; Mary Law School in Williamsburg, Virginia. While at Trinity, in addition to service as a Fellow, Brendan was the Editor-in-Chief of\u00a0<i>The Trinity Tripod\u00a0<\/i>and was actively involved as sacristan of the Chapel.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><b>Matthew DeMichele &#8217;19 <\/b>was an undergraduate fellow in 2017 and 2018. He was a public policy and law major from Hartford. He owns Shadow and Trees Massage Therapy in West Hartford.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><b>Christopher Bulfinch \u201818 <\/b>was an undergraduate fellow and editorial assistant on <i>Religion in the News<\/i> in 2017 and 2018. He was a history major from Manchester-by-the Sea, Massachusetts. He is associate editor at Amos Media in Sydney, Ohio.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><b>William Winter \u201818<\/b> was an editorial assistant on <i>Religion in the News<\/i> and an undergraduate fellow at the Center in the spring, summer and fall of 2016, 2017 and 2018.
