Amy provides oversight of all submissions and projects that move through the Grants Office. She works closely with senior leadership in the Dean of Faculty’s Office and the President’s Office to ensure all internal and external initiatives at Trinity are supported. Amy supports institutional and faculty-led grants. She joined Trinity in 2021 and possesses over 20 years of grants experience.<\/span><\/td>\n

Director of Faculty Grants and Sponsored Research

Terri helps faculty to get external funding in support of their research. This includes finding funding, proposal preparation, and post-award activities. She joined the Grants Office in 2023 and has many years of grant writing experience.<\/td>\n

Mark Hughes<\/a><\/strong><\/h4>\n

Associate Director of Grants and Fellowships

\u200b<\/strong>Mark works on a number of campus-wide, grant-supported initiatives, including the Davis UWC Scholars Program. He also oversees endorsed graduate fellowships, including the Fulbright Student Program. Mark began his second tenure at Trinity in 2018, having filled several roles with the Development Office from 2003 to 2008.<\/td>\n

Sheila provides pre- and post-award support on institutional proposals, monitors compliance, and ensures our grants database is current. She joined the Grants Office in 2025 and has many years of experience serving as a program officer at a community foundation.<\/td>\n
