Ryczek, MSME, MBA (`93)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At Pratt &amp; Whitney, Kevin currently leads various strategic military initiatives across programs, planning organizations, engineering disciplines, and module centers.\u00a0 Prior to joining Pratt &amp; Whitney, Kevin spent the previous 13 years in the medical device industry.\u00a0 Kevin has held various Research and Development and Product Development positions working on products such as permanent implants for the cardiovascular system and a single-use water-jet surgical instrument.\u00a0 Kevin started his career after graduating from Stanford University in 1995 at Hewlett-Packard as a Design Engineer working on Inkjet cartridges in Corvallis, OR.\u00a0 In 1997, Kevin transferred internally to H-P to Andover, MA to work on the HeartStart MRx defibrillator.\u00a0 After a few years and several transitions to H-P, Kevin moved onto Thoratec Corporation as a Project Lead Engineer to work on the HeartMate XVE LVADs.\u00a0 After receiving his MBA in 2005, Kevin transitioned to Smith &amp; Nephew as a Senior Project Engineer working on their Versajet product line.\u00a0 In 2008, Kevin decided to move his family from the greater Boston area back to Western Mass.\u00a0 At the same time, Kevin was able to transition his R&amp;D work at S&amp;N to a small contract manufacturer called Vaupell as a Program Manager working on various medical products, including the VersaJet.<\/p>\n<p>Kevin currently holds 4 patents (1 personal) and received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Trinity College, Hartford, CT in 1993, his Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University, Palo Alto, CA in 1995, and his Master of Business from Babson College, Babson Park, MA in 2005.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At Pratt &amp; Whitney, Kevin currently leads various strategic military initiatives across programs, planning organizations, engineering disciplines, and module centers.\u00a0 Prior to joining Pratt &amp; Whitney, Kevin spent the previous 13 years in the medical device industry.\u00a0 Kevin has held various Research and Development and Product Development positions working on products such as permanent implants [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":142,"featured_media":0,"parent":194,"menu_order":9,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"class_list":["post-321","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v24.5 (Yoast SEO v25.8) - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>Kevin R.
