Teaching & Learning in the Shadows: Lessons of Courage in Afghan Women Living Under the Taliban<\/span><\/h4>\n

\nSince retiring in 2023, Prof. Morrison has been teaching with Afghan Female Student Outreach (AFSO), a nonprofit that grew out of a grassroots effort in the spring of that year, bringing together Trinity faculty and partners beyond the college. AFSO\u2019s mission is to provide continuing online educational opportunities for Afghan women, who are affected by the Taliban\u2019s ban on education for women. Prof. Morrison reflected on the challenges and rewards of working with these courageous, intelligent, and determined learners. View the recording here<\/a>.
