{"id":274,"date":"2019-05-07T16:55:45","date_gmt":"2019-05-07T16:55:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.trincoll.edu\/commencement\/?page_id=274"},"modified":"2026-05-04T01:03:26","modified_gmt":"2026-05-04T01:03:26","slug":"parking","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.trincoll.edu\/commencement\/parking\/","title":{"rendered":"Parking"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Information in regard to accessible parking and mobility drop-off location, please visit our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trincoll.edu\/commencement\/accessibility\/\">Accessibility Accommodations webpage<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A campus map (digital and PDF) will be available closer to the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The following parking lots will be closed for general parking during Commencement:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Jarvis and\u00a0Seabury Halls lots (Accessibility parking, first-come, first served)<\/li>\n<li>Manuel and Maria Luisa Lopes Borges Admissions Center (Mobility drop-off only)<\/li>\n<li>Hansen roadway (catering drop-off only, no parking)<\/li>\n<li>Hallden Hall (back) and Life Sciences Center lots<\/li>\n<li>Hansen Hall lot<\/li>\n<li>Summit Street A and B lots<\/li>\n<li>Trinity Commons lot<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All other campus lots are open for visitors.<\/p>\n<p>Please discourage family members or friends from parking on sidewalks or roadways or blocking parked vehicles. Parking in such a manner could result in removal of the vehicle from campus at the owner\u2019s expense. There is no parking allowed on the south side of Vernon Street. Parking on both sides of this street will hinder emergency vehicles and regular traffic. Hartford police regularly ticket and tow vehicles parked on the wrong sides because these streets, especially Allen Place, are the best arteries to Hartford Hospital from campus.
