Six fellows receive a $1,500 stipend to participate in six meetings during the academic year (September, October, November, February, March, and April) where they will be introduced to community engagement pedagogy and supported in designing a Community Learning component to be taught in an upcoming course.<\/p>\n<p>Topics of discussion generally include Community Learning foundations, Trinity in Hartford, building relationships with community partners, designing community learning components, designing reflection, and more. View examples of workshop materials from past CLiFF participants <a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/document\/d\/1LMzK7hIN4K6h6WwpFJDRFy-jMGCpmyRE0ZJpEeRNmY4\/edit?usp=sharing\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h5>Apply<\/h5>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"entry-content clearfix\">\n<p>Applications for AY 2025-2026 are due Wednesday June 25th, 2025. Send your proposal, no more than two pages, via email attachment to Erica.Crowley@trincoll.edu. Proposals should respond to the following questions:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Your contact information<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Your teaching schedule and any pertinent scheduling info for Fall 2025 such as travel, conferences, department meetings, etc (to help us identify meeting times)<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Identify a course for which you would like to design a Community Learning component, and when you plan to teach it. Also include a course description, projected enrollment, types of students (e.g., majors, non-majors; intro or upper-level).<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">What preliminary ideas do you have for integrating Community Learning into this course? How would it deepen student learning and connections with Hartford? Feel free to review our <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.trincoll.edu\/cher\/resources\/recent-partnerships\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">list of recent partners<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and reach out to brainstorm about potential connections, as we realize some applicants might be newcomers to the area.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">What kinds of support do you need to achieve your goals above?
