Bicentennial Kickoff – Friday, May 5, 2023<\/h3>\n
To launch the celebration when students are still on campus, the campus community will cap off Honors Day by launching a festive celebration.<\/p>\n
Charter Day – Tuesday, May 16, 2023<\/h3>\n
Mark Trinity\u2019s official birthday\u2014Charter Day\u2014with a new tradition on campus and a digital celebration around the world.<\/p>\n
Alumni Bicentennial Celebration – Friday-Saturday, June 9 \u2013 10, 2023<\/h3>\n
All alumni are invited to return to campus for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration over the course of our traditional Reunion Weekend. Reconnect with classmates, and find friends from cultural houses, athletic teams, fraternities and sororities, academic groups, and student clubs. Attend talks and the first Bicentennial symposium. Join in the biggest birthday bash\u2014music, cake, and fireworks included!<\/p>\n
Bicentennial Symposia<\/h3>\n

\nThe Bicentennial Symposia are designed by faculty, staff, students, and alumni to create intergenerational reflection and dialogue about our history, our identity, and our future.<\/p>\nBicentennial Fall Weekend – Friday \u2013 Sunday, October 13 \u2013 15, 2023<\/h3>\n
All are invited to campus for a combined Homecoming and Family Weekend celebration. See your favorite team compete, enjoy a special performing arts event, spend time with friends, or watch student groups in action.<\/p>\n
Bicentennial Gala – Saturday, May 11, 2024<\/h3>\n
To close the year, we are hosting a fundraising gala at the Connecticut Convention Center to honor the Trinity\u2013Hartford connection and celebrate our commitments to the future.<\/p>\n
There will also be a number of free and open events for all. These events, the 1823 Series, will include movies and talks at Cinestudio, athletic events, the July carillon series, and arts events. Dates will be announced shortly.<\/p>\n
To create space for memories and communal storytelling, the Bicentennial website will include a project called \u201c200 Stories.\u201d Plans and details are forthcoming.<\/p>\n
Participation is key to the success of the upcoming year\u2014whether attending an event or engaging digitally. Our goal for the Bicentennial is to create space for everyone in the Trinity community to celebrate, to reflect on the past and future through inter-generational dialogue, to highlight our community\u2019s relevance today, and to welcome and involve as many people as we can.<\/p>\n
The story of Trinity College is that of your community. We are excited to see how you\u2019ll participate.<\/p>\n
