What advice do you have for prospective students applying to college?
I would encourage them to definitely reach out to those schools to which they are applying, schedule an interview with one of the Admission Officers, write an additional essay where they can share their thoughts, and also proofread all of their application materials.
What’s one thing you wish you knew before coming to college?
Before coming to Trinity, I was a little bit unsure about my academic performance since English is not my first language and also because I am a first-generation student. However, during the past three years, I received an incredible amount of support from my professors and many of the staff members and I was able to perform very well in almost all of the courses I took. Trinity is a very supportive place and I am sure that you will also be able to perform very well if you are passionate about what you are studying and if you don’t hesitate to reach out for help in those situations when you are uncertain about something.
