Justin S. Maccarone, Jr. is a managing director of strategic development for Tradition Energy, a global energy management and advisory firm based in Stamford, Connecticut. Previously he spent more than 25 years working in private equity and leveraged finance in New York and was a founding partner of UBS Capital Americas, the private equity arm of UBS in the Americas. He has served on numerous corporate and nonprofit boards and is active on the Community Advisory Board for Scouting in Darien.

Maccarone, who double majored in economics and international relations at Trinity, went on to earn an M.B.A. from Columbia University. He has been a member of Trinity’s National Alumni Association Executive Committee since 2012 and now serves as its president.

Maccarone lives in Darien, Connecticut, with his wife, Marie P’19, and their three children, including Michael ’19.
