Sports + Culture

Students are encouraged to make the most of their time in Barcelona by taking advantage of the multitude of options for immersion into the culture. The Trinity staff are more than happy to help students in this pursuit to compliment what is already offered through the program.

Students should take advantage of the sports teams and clubs at the University, not only to stay fit, but also as a great way to meet Spaniards with a similar interest. Barcelona has a lot of activities to offer, including kite surfing, beach volleyball, mountain sports, biking, and horseback riding, to name a few. Students can take advantage of a wide range of sporting activities at the university and throughout the city.

Health and Well-Being

Feeling well while studying abroad can be a challenge. We have a range of services aimed at helping students to feel better both physically and mentally during their time in Barcelona. Students living in the student residence have access to the gym in teh building and all students in homestays and the residence have access to the menu of fitness programming and classes through the andjoy app. Some example fitness classes available are spinning, climbling, yoga, pilates, boxing, crossfit and much more.

Students can also access an extensive network of health services and therapists through International SOS insurance, including English-speaking professionals. On site staff can also help students to find other sports activities and services in the city to suit their needs and help them feel their best.
