In addition to counseling services, the Counseling and Wellness Center participates in a number of activities designed to promote the general wellness and health of our students, faculty and staff.  A primary way in which we extend our services beyond the walls of the Counseling Center is through our outreach services.  Outreach allows us to engage with the broader community through a variety of events designed to provide psychoeducational and prevention programming, workshops and trainings, and can address a wide range of themes, including stress management, mindfulness, perfectionism, improving communication, relationships issues, sports psychology and performance enhancement, substance use, self-care, and other topics upon request.  We also participate in tabling activities, fairs, and campus-wide events.  We partner with faculty, staff, student organizations, sports teams, residence halls and any other interested individuals.

If you feel your student organization, class or faculty/staff community would benefit from such programs, please feel free to  let us know.  Our outreach coordinator, Dr. Kate Marinchak, is on leave this fall, but you can contact Dr. Randolph Lee for more information.
