The Partnering with Hartford subcommittee is charged with identifying what distinguishes Trinity as a small liberal arts college in a city that is committed to sustained, long-term partnerships with the local community. Starting with an inventory and assessment of Trinity’s current myriad programs, initiatives, and partnerships, the subcommittee will develop a unified plan for our future efforts. The subcommittee’s work should strengthen Trinity’s “urban pulse” and reinforce one of our most distinguishing features and points of pride. Critical questions include: What should be our relative focus on the local immediate neighborhood vs. Hartford more broadly? How does our faculty expertise support and sustain our partnerships with Hartford? Which current partnerships should we enhance, which no longer meet our needs, and which new critical partnerships will advance our mission? Are there ways to enhance Trinity’s global/urban connection?
