Trinity Alumni Community "Catches the Feeling" with New Lip Sync/Dance Video

Alumni Sing and Dance Along to Justin Timberlake's "Can't Stop the Feeling!"

Hartford, Connecticut, June 22, 2016 – What do you get when you put a dozen Bantams in a barn? This is not the start of a chicken joke – it’s the intro to an epic lip sync/dance video that the Trinity alumni community came together to create, featuring Justin Timberlake’s new single, “Can’t Stop the Feeling!”

Trinity College challenged its alumni to submit clips for the video, and they responded from California to Connecticut in typical Trinity style: smart, creative, and fun. Recording artist Brandon Serafino ’14, who lives in Hartford and works at entrepreneurial incubator reSET, played Trinity’s resident Justin Timberlake in the recording studio of the new Gruss Music Center, with summer science research students as his background dancers.

Among some of the highlights, Destin Dopwell ’15 provided a twist with his flute skills, and recent master’s program graduate Emily Leonard M’16 delivered plenty of charm, which earned her the title of "Best Performer," as determined by an internal judging panel. The video also includes clips from this year’s Reunion, with footage shot by two members of Trinity’s Student Video Team: Cassia Armstrong ’18 and Daming Xing ’17.

Trinity’s call for video participants came via several social media messages and as part of an alumni e-mail communication. Click here and follow Trinity College on Facebook. To get involved with Trinity alumni events, visit.
