About Us

Welcome to Trinity College's Academy of Lifelong Learning, a series of non-credit-bearing short courses on diverse and stimulating topics.  Our courses are open to all adults in the greater Hartford region.

Courses cover a wide range of stimulating topics and are taught by distinguished former and current Trinity faculty members. The hallmark of a Trinity education has long been the close interaction between professors and students, and the Academy of Lifelong Learning continues that tradition. Courses are taught in an engaging, collaborative manner, and there are opportunities to meet with fellow students and professors. Classes are conveniently scheduled for the late afternoon and early evening. Classrooms are easily reached from the center of the Trinity campus. Well-illuminated, secure parking is available on campus, within walking distance to classrooms.

We encoruage you to view these courses as your gateway to the exciting intellectual and cultural resourses of Trinity College.  Our campus, our libraries, and many of our events, found on the Trinity College Calendar, are open the public.  Enrolled students in the Academy also receive special discounts to Cinestudio, to most of the theatrical and musical performances at the Austin Arts Center, as well as College athletic events.

We look forward to seeing you in one of our classrooms soon.
