There will be a series of short essays/compositions during the course for students to integrate their readings of the films and present their interpretations orally in class. The topic for each essay will be chosen based from an assigned list of options presented during class.

The writing assignments must be an original analysis, and any additional bibliographical materials cited or consulted MUST be included in a bibliography with appropriate documentation.

It is REQUIRED that all writing assignments be checked for spelling and grammatical corrections with software designed for this purpose.

2 pages, typed / New Times Roman 11-12 or Arial 11

EVALUATION:

Content: 75% / Grammar 25%

*Please note that the presentation and discussion of these short essays in class each week will be graded separately for participation. (20% of final grade)
