Traumatic Brain Injury Support Group

Trinity College and the Brain Injury Association of Connecticut are pleased to announce that a new traumatic brain injury support group is forming. This group will be designed:

  1. To provide a forum where survivors can identify with others.
  2. To have a safe environment to share feelings and problems.
  3. To gain confidence in social skills in a safe environment.
  4. To develop trust and comradeship.
  5. To gain a sense of belonging.
  6. To receive feedback on social skills.
  7. To receive feedback on cognitive skills.
  8. To provide empathy to others.
  9. To practice working with others towards a common goal.
  10. To receive validaiton and support.

This group will be conducted in both Spanish and English and speakers of both languages are encouraged to attend. Spouses, parents, and significant others are also encouraged to participate.

The group will meet:
the third Wednesday of every month
6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
