Volunteers Needed: mild traumatic brain injury

Trinity College's Department of Psychology is seeking volunteers who have sustained mild traumatic brain injury and now experience difficulty with their attention or memory. We are studying the effects of a procedure to improve memory through a series of memory exercises. All volunteers will receive an EEG before and after treatment, a neuropsychological evaluation before and after treatment, and a course of cognitive rehabilitation for approximately six months. All aspects of the study will be supervised by a licensed psychologist. The informaiton from the study will be confidential; your name will not be associated with any publication. If you wish, the information can be shared with your doctors or therapists. However, no apsect of your participation in this project will affect your ongoing treatment with other therapists in any way. Participation is free of charge and all sessions will take place at Trinity College in Hartford, CT.
