Volunteers Needed: Aging and Alzheimer's Disease
- We are looking for volunteers for a new procedure to help improve the memory of people
who are having difficulty with their memory later in their lives, including those with
Alzheimer's disease. All volunteers will receive an EEG before and after treatment, a
neuropsychological evaluation before and after treatment, and a course of rehabilitation
for approximately six months. The rehabilitation will consist only of paper-and-pencil
tasks with no risk involved. All aspects of the study will be supervised by a licensed
psychologist. The information from the study will be confidential; your name will not be
associated with any publication. No aspect of your participation in this project wil
affect your ongoing treatment with other therapists or doctors in any way. Participation
is free of charge and all sessions will take place at Trinity College in Hartford, CT. If
you have any questions, or would like to participate, please contact Dr. Sarah Raskin at sarah.raskintrincoll.@edu.
