Setup printing to a Canon Printer

Step 1. Launch System Preferences

Step 2. Select Print & Fax icon

Step 3. Click button Set Up Printer

Step 4. In printer Utility Window select add

Step 5. Select IP Printing at first drop down box

Step 6. Select LPD/LPR at second drop down box

Step 7. Type full (FQDN) name of printer in printer address field example: name.coprn.trincoll.edu

Step 8. Type “print” in queue name field

Step 9. Select printer model at Printer Model drop down box

Step 10. Select the printer driver at Model Name field

Step 11. Select add button at bottom of Printer Utility Window

Step 1. Launch System Preferences

Step 2. Select Print & Fax icon

Step 3. Click button Set Up Printer

Step 4. In printer Utility Window select add

Step 5. Select IP Printing at first drop down box
