Recent Student Research Projects
- Development of GC-MS and LC-MS methods
to track common commercial chemicals as they move through wastewater
systems. A major goal is to be able to identify these chemicals in well
water as they move from septic tanks into the aquifer.
See poster on Triclosan study.
- Analysis of Mercury in seafood. This
project has involved total Hg analysis but will eventually include
speciation of the forms of Hg present.
