Low Key Birthday

Alison turned 11 on July 12. This day fell less than two weeks after we had gotten back into our house, and everyone agreed that it was too soon, and too complicated, to plan a big party. Instead, with a couple of friends, we went to Lake Compounce, the local theme park. (Blame Dad for forgetting the camera -- hence no photos!) A great time was had by all, and we stayed till the park closed at the bitter end.
