The Hotel In Virginia
When we stayed in
Virginia we went to a hotel. It was so cool! There was free breakfast, a fitness
room and the best of all...... a pool! The first thing that I did when I got
there was get on my bathing-suit and go down to the pool. My sister, Caroline
went with me. We played in the pool a little and then got in the hot-tub.
Another girl came and got in the hot-tub. She wasn't shy- we got talking right
away. I found out her name was Isabelle and she was 11 in 5th grade. She was
also on a swim team and at the hotel for a race. She was going to be there until
Sunday. We had a lot of fun with her because Caroline was so small we could pick
her up!
Caroline loved it too! Here we are throwing Caroline.
We would play games too.
Like color- if you guessed the color right you get a ride on our backs or
something. Until you get it right though you get dunked under water. It was a
special favorite of Caroline's.
To the left we are talking about what game we want to play. Marco polo is a
favorite of Isabelle's and I like doing tricks.
If you are anything like
Isabelle you're really strong. She could hold me on her shoulders and I'm older
than her!
Wooooooooooooow!
Also, she can hold
Caroline on her shoulders. Isabelle says Caroline is as light as a feather. She
says I'm light as a feather too but I don't believe her. Me? Please.
Caroline liked to pretend
to be dead. I think she thought that we thought that she really was dead. We
didn't though. It was kind of obvious but playing with people who are real
friends you kind of forget what you would and would not normally do. even though
I only knew Isabelle for a little amount of time she was already a very good
friend. Funny, kind and just plain fun to be around.
Underneath is Caroline pretending to be dead. See us pretending to think she is
dead? I think we are doing a pretty good job. Don't you? Isabelle is even
covering her eyes!
Isabelle is not the only
one who is strong. I could also hold her and Caroline. Not at the same time
though and maybe not as well as Isabelle, but I'm no weakling! Here is a picture
of me holding Caroline.
Next is a picture of me holding Isabelle. It kind of looks like I'm drowning
though doesn't it. Ah well....... I told you I didn't do at well as Isabelle.
Humph! I hope I didn't hurt myself!
We did this until 10:00 at night and again for an hour the next day. It was so much fun! I asked Isabelle if she had a cell phone and if she did what was her number. She did and told me her number. But I forgot to write it down and I can't remember! I'll probably never see her again but we had a good time when we were with each other.
