Byron Assemblies in April

On April 2, Alison and Caroline took part in plays performed for the other students at their weekly assemblies.  Caroline's Grade 2 class performed several fables from Aesop's Fables, and Alison's Grade 5 class performed an original play based on the idea that your day can have many different endings, depending on how one seemingly unimportant thing goes right or wrong.

Here, the ants work hard all summer while the Grasshopper idles the day away.  Caroline is the ant at the far left.  Her teacher Ms. Agni played Aesop, at left.

The 5th Grade play concerned two scenarios:  one in which passengers got on a bus, which was then taken over by terrorists, and only saved by Superman; the other in which the passengers missed the bus and thus the whole terrorist incident.
