Shopping past Bedtime

One night when I was watching TV, Dad told me, “It’s time to go.”  And I asked, “Where are we going?”  “Going for dinner and shopping.”  We went on the subway.  Mom said that we could buy some worry beads.  I found some perfect worry beads with Athena the goddess and her temple.  So did Alison.  Oh, I forgot to tell you what worry beads are.  They are something that you rub when you worry.  The more you rub it, the more you stop worrying.  If you’re really worried, then you rub it even more.  And they have all different colors!

Now, let’s get back to the story.  Mom bought a Medusa head for one of the teachers at Talcott Mountain Science Camp.  Me and Alison bought some creepy spiders that can jump!  And my spider’s name is Sammy.  We met a funny man who pretended that he thought my spider was real.  Right after we bought the spiders, Alison bought this funny little toy thing.  It was a doll.  And then, we went to a little shop.  Then we bought a box to put a shell in that I found.  And we bought a little thing that shows your religion.  And there were two other funny men who pretended that my spider was real.

Then we saw that little cat table, a little cat on its front legs, holding up a platform.  We went to an ancient Greek place and saw a real ancient wind tower with gods all around it.  And then me and Alison saw a cute little black kitty.  Did you know that most of the cats are stray in Athens?  And the little black kitty had stuff around its eyes.  It kept on meowing at us, begging for scraps.  Then a restaurant opened.  The little black kitty scrambled under a table and waited for some scraps to fall.  Meanwhile, we walked away and went to a place where everything was closed.  And so we walked back.  Me and Alison looked for the little kitty and we saw it under a table, looking for scraps that had fell.

Then we went and had dinner at a nice restaurant, and we saw a man with an accordion.  Once he left the street, Alison ran after him with some money, and then she paid him.  And after that, we went back on the Metro and came home.  I looked for blankie.  Once I found her, we came up here and wrote this story.

The End.
