Is there any way to look at finer time slices in your brain scans? I mean, could you see what happens while I look at a blinking red light, then blue, then red again? The idea is that you could figure out the differences between those images, and plot a map that shows how we move through time, independently of what the task is. The phenomenology suggests that we are continually moving along in hyperspace, not backtracking.
