Abstract

Seven species of red algae, all members of the Ceramiales, are added to the flora of Bermuda, including Aglaothamnion boergesenii, Ceramium brevizonatum var. caraibicum, C. corniculatum, Crouania elisiae sp. nov., Griffithsia heteromorpha, Herposiphonia variabilis, and Hypoglossum caloglossoides.  Four other species already known from the islands are discussed in light of recent collections—Crouania pleonospora, Bostrychia radicans, Griffithsia schousboei, and Herposiphonia filifera, the latter previously known from a single collection made over a century ago.
