| We start the day with a brief
exercise in the sand dunes and head on onto the Kaibab Plateau to visit the
Grand Canyon. The view is stunning, though some of us are disappointed that
we can't really see the Colorado river far down below. The long campaign for
an additional visit to the South Rim begins... We spend the night outside the Park, overlooking Marble Canyon and the Echo Cliffs in the far distance. |
