On our hike to the lost Palm Oasis.

We start the day with a hike to the lost palm oasis. Five hours through the desert bring us to an oasis that sports "less palms than Jenny's backyard". The fact that these palm trees hung in there since the Pleistocene made only a weak impression. On our way back we stopped to check out the jumping chollas before we had a long siesta back at camp. In the evening we enjoyed the sunset from Ryan mountain.
