Owens (dry) Lake samples (T 62) have S-ratios close to 1.0, indicating again the presence of only "magnetically soft" magnetite. At increasing distance from Owens (dry) Lake S-ratios decrease, which is in agreement with an additional hard component, already seen in IRM acquisition curves.
