Mission Statement for the Electron Microscopy Facility at
Trinity College
The Electron Microscopy Facility shall be a resource for all
the sciences at Trinity College and shall:

Serve as a state-of-the-art instrumentation and techniques center
for microcharacterization studies in life and materials sciences;
|
|
Supplement and enrich core and other courses;
|
|
Provide a nexus for interdisciplinary science studies;
|
|
Enable first-rate opportunities for student and faculty research;
|
|
Enable outreach opportunities within the greater scientific community
|
The Director of
the EM Facility, in collaboration
with the Electron Microscopy Advisory Committee, shall
facilitate the attainment of these goals.
