The Life of a College Student

High School ends and friends are lost

College begins and new friends are made

Schedules are made and students are unhappy

Professors give homework and more homework

You have a few beers on the weekend

You procrastinate for getting drunk

This is the life of a college student

Semester ends and vacation begins

You cry as you see your old room and your friends

You fill up on your mother's home cooking

After three weeks you want to go back to school

You're a good boy/girl and underage, so you don't drink

You procrastinate for not getting drunk

This is the life of a college student

Spring comes around and you want another vacation

Spring comes around and you break out the flip-flops

Spring Weekend comes to campus and you enjoy the music

Finals come around and you pray that you passed all your classes

You have a few beers on the weekend and during Finals

You procrastinate for drinking too much

This is the life of a college student

You select a major and change it three times before graduation

You select an advisor and he ignores you.

You do work and don't understand the point of it

You procrastinate when a professor acts like he/she doesn't care

You have a few beers on the weekend

You procrastinate for getting so drunk

This is the life of a college student

This process repeats itself for eight semesters

Then in two hours you are a graduate

You have a diploma and a job to use it at, hopefully

You have a high priced one room apartment

You can't afford beer and other luxuries

You dream about the good old days of college

This was the life of a college student
