In the last couple of weeks, I have received many questions asking why the Journal no longer has a large Trinity section. They wonder why we no longer report on Cinestudio (the campus movie theater) or the Austin Arts Center, among other places. For the past three years, the Journal has carried information about many campus events and general-interest Trinity information. However, this summer, many of these departments went online themselves. Now that they each maintain a complete source of information, the Journal no longer needs to collect the information each week. Our Trinity article section still remains, for stories about the Trinity Community. Next week the Trinity section will be covering the inuguration of President Evan Dobelle, our new "head honcho".
For the benefit of the Trinity Community and for those in the world who want to know what Trinity does, here are the links to places we used to report on.
Of course, there are more resources available...peruse the Trinity Web space -- I believe you will be impressed. With a little effort, you can find out anything you want to know about the College.
- Cinestudio - the campus Movie Theater.
- Austin Arts Center - Schedules and information about the center.
- Mather Food - Menus and info on Trinity dining options.
- Trinity Tripod - Trinity's School Newspaper.
