Boy Fantasy

"Lesbians are cool." Almost all the boys I've met in my life have said that one time or another with great excitement. They also say that they would do almost anything for a night with two girls at once,the ideal setup would be to see them make out first, and then join in to the scenery. But let me remind you here that none of these boys have actually tried the manage-et-toi situation; they are only speculating that it must be good. My question is WHY?
There seems to be several different answers for this, since there are various kinds of ideal lesibianic situations these boys have. Here is the most absurd one: "I want to see my girlfriend making out with another girl, and then, I want to screw them both." HOLD UP. What happened to the concept of monogamy? Is having sex with members of the same sex not included as extracurricular sex? It must be, since these boys all declared that they would never let a third party join in if it were a guy. Lesbian relationships are just as intricate, complex, and full of love as heterosexual relationships, so where is this amazing confidence that their girlfriend is not going to leave them for the third-party girl coming from? What if sex with her is so good that the girlfriend wants to leave him for her?
I guess the answer to that would be ignorance and overconfidence. Now, moving on to the next category of men, are the boys who would love to watch to women who they don't know very well make out with the possibilities of joining in later. Most boys fall in this category and this is the group that buys the porno's and fantasizes about nameless, faceless many women masturbating themselves and each other. What sets the first group apP this group is that boys from this group do not want their girlfriends involved. I still don't know where this fascination for two women comes from, but this seems to be a uniformal obsession.
It must be the beauty of the female body that attracts the boys so much. The female body, with its curves and smoothness, has been appreciated as a form of art for centuries. There is even a class taught by the Women's Studies department here called the Sacred Female Body. Could it be that the woman's body is more beautiful than that of another man's in the eyes of the general male public? "One's cool, but two's better," seems to be the opinion that summarizes the desire toward lesbian couples.
The last category denies that, however. This group would rather keep their attentions and their lovers' attentions among themselves. The ideal fantasy involves their girlfriends and only their girlfriends. Sharing is not an option, and neither is interest in any other woman. Then does that mean that boy fantasies about lesbians an expression of discontent for a relationship?
I don't think that is necessarily true, however, for if it were, there would be more attempt to bring the fantasy to life. Since in many cases, besides those people who write letters to Skank and Cheri magazine, manage-et-tois stay as being fantasies. Perhaps this makes it seem even more special. In conclusion, boy fantasy about lesbians must be based on two ideas somewhat confusingly, incorporated: women are beautiful, and, the more the merrier.
