s the semester comes to a close, we are being asked to right a nice cheesy retrospective on the semester. Well, it rocked. The Journal looks great and we are so cool. My favorite issues are September 21st and September 28th Besides all that, I have some really important questions for you:
- What is the significance that my favorite issues of the semester are also from the beginning of the semester?
- What if Santa Claus were real, and you were it??
- Why is 90% of the alternative wave based on image?
- Will you always love your first true love? If you don't, then did you ever love at all?
- Would you want to be the one who came up with the cure for warts?
- Is art the way we express our want to live eternally outside our physical being?
- What were you doing a year ago? What will you be doing a year from now? Will I ever go to Australia again?
- Is it possible, even in an ideal world, to do away with the influence of society upon our personality? Could we ever express our true selves without it?
- How closely related are capitalism and democracy?
- Is there another Sebadoh member in Deluxx Folk Implosion besides Lou Barlow?
- Are our lives inevitable?
- Am I pretty? Should I care what you think?
- In order to fly, you need to think of a happy thought. What would be your happy thought? (Does sex count??)
- Even though there have been several attempts, why don't those damn videophones sell?
- In terms of knowledge, is this it?
- What is your reality check? What happens when you don't have that anymore?
- If men are the hardware of computers and women are the software, what program/brand are you?
- Why is Alexander Zaitchik such a mystery?
- Which 'Real World' season would you like to have been a member of?
- When is the novelty of the Internet going to wear off?
- Can we implode or explode?
- Did you read all of this? Did you understand??
