Words from our Chief of Staff

Sara Upton - Chief of Staff

Well the semester is finally coming to a close and those of us who are still students can look forward to one month of sitting on our asses, being showered with presents, and stuffing face. Its been a hectic semester for the journal and its staff; we were robbed, our air conditioner morphed into a heater, and our writing staff decided to go on sabbatical. But through it all, the journal and its crew has persevered, picking up a few new loyalists (from on and off campus) along the way. Sad as it is, this issue will be my last as Chief-of -Staff of the journal. The coming of the New Year will Mark the beginning of the Reign of Rob, who, as you may remember, is the death of romance. I, will be moving on to the greener pastures of Senior Editorship. Although I am looking forward to next semester, I will always look back on this one fondly (SUCH a lie).

As for the rest of the staff, Sally, our Editor-in-Chief, will again be, our Editor-in-Chief! (Along with Production Editor, Matt Richards, unless he by some miracle is accepted by Columbia or Parsons.) Chris Hunt is happy to keep his position as Images Editor so that he can continue to keep the couches warm during production night while his co-editor is leaving him to do our top of line covers. Everything else is pretty much staying the same. So, please, please, enjoy this last issue of 1997 and upgrade your damn browsers so we can start using Java!
