Yosemite

I begin my hike along the John Muir Trail in Yosemite National Park, CA. John Muir was the founder of the Sierra Club, and a naturalist who particularly enjoyed this hike in Yosemite Valley.

I contemplate life, surrounded by the beauty of nature.

The Upper falls on the Muir Trail: Nevada Falls. It's difficult to imagine the impact of this waterfall without experiencng it yourself.

This view of the Half Dome (center) is what greets the driver who approaches the valley from the west. The beauty of Yosemite National Park is overwhelming from the start.
