Computer Arms Race

We fight a war of obsolesence very day. I sell computers for a second job, and I see even the least computer-literate people getting into the arms race.

"I bought a PowerMac 7200 and now I have to scrap it because they now have the PowerMac 7201 with VOLUME CONTROL! AUUUIIIIGH! I HAVE TO GET A NEW ONE! I'M BEHIND THE TIMES!" People seem to think that once a new model is introduced, all the old ones suddenly stop working. This simply is not true. Well, here's an upgrade for the 'Rest of Us'. Targeted squarely at the ancient compact Mac crowd, it promises the most bang for the buck.
