Eric Lavigne Explores Wyoming

had the good fortune of travelling to Wyoming this summer with a group of cross country runners from the greater Hartford area. It was one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. The scenery was simply magnificent. Every day we had bright sunshine and very comfortable temperatures. During my stay out west I spent most of my time in Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National park. Every morning I was up bright and early to go running. On more than one occasion my morning run would cross the path of moose, wolves, deer, and buffalo. One morning I was out in the Roosevelt section of Yellowstone and saw a grizzly bear in the field next to us, unfortunately none of us were carrying a camera to catch the stunning moment. I have included pictures of both Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. I am hoping to spend more time out there next summer.
