S o, are you a senior considering your career options for next year? Does the world of law strike you as the safe and exciting way to go? I guess the career counseling center hasn't recommended watching the new film, "The Devil's Advocate," staring Al Pacino and Keanu Reeves, have they? Well you might have to check it out for yourself then....

Keanu Reeves plays a hot shot lawyer from Florida who has never lost a case. He is offered a great job in New York City that he can't refuse. But what will happen to this innocent naive man, and his wife in the Big Apple? The plot becomes twisted as the unexpected opportunities unfold. Keep a lookout for Al Pacino as "The Firm" encounters "The Omen."

Al Pacino as always, plays the role of a strong character who is central to the plot. His acting is superb as he convincingly charms people with his wittiness. His charismatic personality draws women to him and he seems to have a great time corrupting everyone into yielding to his ways.

Put all your preconceived notions of Keanu aside, because it's a known fact that he obviously does not pull as much weight in the acting world as Pacino. But, in this movie, Keanu Reeves does manage to pull it off in what can be considered a feat of acting excellence. His serious role is depicted well.

"The Devil's Advocate," as the name might imply, provides for an interesting and entertaining movie that will keep you thinking; a thriller with an intriguing story line and great cinematography. It is a movie that is definitely worth seeing, especially if you like to watch films that don't spell everything out for you. But if elements of mystery in movies confuse you, and you aren't ready to play Sherlock Holmes, do not worry, you will figure it all out in the end.
