I wonder.. What? What? How do you... What? I wonder, I wonder how you make me feel so right. And I wonder if... I wonder if you'll be here with me tonight. Geese fly north. Days grow long. It seems like winter's almost gone, now. Do you remember when crickets chirped the whole night long? I wonder if... What? What? I wonder if... What? I wonder if you can hear that white noise symphony, on high. It's got a tune, got a beat, it's got the rhythm of reality. The phone will ring but no one's there to pick it up, now. Just let it go. They don't know that we're long gone, long gone. Did you know... What? What? Did you know... What? Did you know that you're the answer to my sad history? You're the answer, yes, but that answer's still a mystery to me. (crickets sounds) ... What? What? ... What?
At the shore, near the city, Suddenly I recognize His face amongst the many. Each wet crystal sparkles in his footsteps. A silver sound goes up on small chimes. Julio Iglesias walks by with his daughter. For a billion years the ocean has ground this silicon Very fine. Very fine. Very fine.
Oh River! Oh Mother! Your goodness, welcome! Up? And turning. On turning, the stars float on your water. You sparkle. You smile on. The clouds dream of your lap. We are your birds. You are our sleep. Yes! You look ahead, a smile that is certain. Where you will flow, no hand can stop. Oh River! Oh Mother! Oh Time!
