Glenn Kaino is a fourth generation Japanese-American artist who is currently in Los Angeles. His work deals with the representation, or more accurately, lack of representation of Asian-Americans within popular culture. He has been a member of the internet community for a number of years and is currently examining its cultural implications. He has shown work at the Downey Museum of Art in Los Angeles and Gallery 2 in Chicago, Illinois, as well as having produced a public access program for cable television. He is currently in the process of publishing an interactive CD-ROM as well as helping direct the production of a literary arts journal, both which should be released in the next quarter.
