EMPLOYMENT

June 1994 to Present - Independent Network/Internet Consulting.

Set up a business to advise, install, and maintain computer networks, as well as setup/install/maintain Internet services (FTP, WWW, etc.) for clients. Business also provides custom HTML creation and HTTP programming for use on clients' World Wide Web Servers. Clients include: Columbia Daily Spectator, and Williams College.

September 1994 to Present - Instructor, Harnessing the Internet.

Responsible for the creation and instruction of an introductory college level course that is used to introduce the Internet and its services to students and faculty at Trinity College. Topics include FTP, TELNET, WWW, Gopher, Archie, WAIS and Email.

February 1993 to Present - Founder/Publisher/Editor In Chief, Trincoll Journal

Responsible for the creation and administration of the Trincoll Journal, an on-line, multimedia magazine. The magazine is housed on the global Internet's World Wide Web and is freely accessible to the 30 million users that currently use the Internet. In addition to feature articles the magazine also provides: local movie and theater listings, extensive links to academic reference materials and libraries, and Trinity College campus-wide information. Duties also include the coordination of the Journal's 20 member staff, revenue creation through the sale of hypertext advertisements, and budget creation/maintenance. The Trincoll Journal can be accessed by any type of computer, world wide, that is connected to the Internet .

Summers 1993, 1994 - Internship, Bloomberg Business News.

Duties included the generation of daily stock, bond, metals market reports compiled for the Bloomberg proprietary financial information network. Responsible for feature article coverage of various companies in the computer, software, and consumer electronics industries. Published articles were run in the New York Times, Boston Globe, and International Herald Tribune.

Summer 1992 - Asset Strategies Group.

Due diligence performed on mortgage files for Federal Deposit Insurance Company and Resolution Trust Company, both on-site and in central office. Responsible for transferring data from one system to another and readying files of RTC and FDIC loans for sale.

September 1992 to Present Manager - Trinity College, Mather Hall Photo Lab.

Responsible for coordination of student lab use. Duties include: budget, maintenance, instruction, and the creation of informational documents and pamphlets.

Summer 1991 - Internship, International Center of Photography.

Duties included: the preparation and maintenance of three darkrooms and studios as well as the explanation and demonstration of techniques and theory to students.

AWARDS AND HONORS

April 1992 - Certificate of Merit, Columbia Press Association.

Received award for a portfolio of photographs shot for the Trinity Tripod. This award was the only prize received for all of the New England area.

June 1991 - Award for Excellence in Photography, Trinity School.

Received award for overall excellence of my three year study of photography at the school.

November 1990 - Award for Excellence in Photography, United Fed. of Teachers.

Received this award for a photograph submitted to a contest sponsored by UFT and WPBS (public television, ch.13, New York).
