Some links that I like

Here are my links. I got some of the sites from Newsweek
and their Cyberscope section.
Others are from my forrays to the net.
Magazines, etc.
- The Cyberscope Features site
has lots of cool links to other agencies, sites, and pages.
The
Conspiracies Page is great.
- The Ziff Davis Homepage links to all
sorts of cool stuff, like MacWeek, MacUser, and PC Magazine, to name a few.
This is a useful reference site for up-to-date computer info and questions.
- Bill Gates' column, and
other computer stuff.
- VoyagerCo is a great
magazine. The opinion writers there are pretty interesting, and Jaron
Lanier contributes intermittently. This is one I read.
- This is the Literary Kicks page.
It is a great source for info on Kerouac, Ginsberg, the Beats, and Neal Cassidy. Anything on the Beat writers of the '60s is here.
- Clement Mok Designs has some incredible grafix work. I reccomend this site.
- The New York Times online. This
site is the best. Check out the crossword engine.
- Suck. Angry, young, sucksters.
- Wisdom's
Maw. Interesting, check it out.
- Be liberal. The Village Voice
- Salon. A good read.
- OMNI. The scientific
magazine.
- Hunter S.
Thompson online. Sick, twisted, great writer-- my kind of guy.
Useful Services
Music Links
- Jerry Garcia's passing has saddned all of us who were effected by his spirit and music. Use the link here to the Dead Homepage
to explore the myriad of tributes to the man and his music. It
has good links to David Gans' page, the Taper's Corner, and stuff
at UC Berkeley, such as Useless Dead Stats, and the like.
- I get to that through the EINet Galaxy page from Music(Leisure and Recreation), which offers other links to
a Pink Floyd page, a Beastie Boys' page and other music indexes.
- Bob Marley's birthday spawned a page that you can access through
this reggae
home page link.
- Look at Frank Sikernietzche's page for links for other cool sites, some new Netscape 1.1N textures, lots of nifty stop-offs and more. . . .
TV and Entertainment Links
- I want to find a good Harrison Ford spot, with info about Indiana
Jones, but for now I have a link to the
Star Wars archive.
But, you need
MacGZip to get some of the neater things there.
- Beavis and
Butthead rule.
This is a listing of B+B sites.
- Possibly the funniest site on the internet, this URL went around for
weeks at the office; without a doubt, check out www.pimpz.org. Killer links and
hilarious content.
- Hypermode... Eye Candy.
- Abuse-A-Tron. What
a concept. I have been known to use it.
- Are you curious about Mullets? Hilarious.
- This is the Moviepage for
spoilers on upcoming plots, the word on new releases and scripts in progress.
- The Roswell page. Conspiracies
abound. You know, Area 51 and such.
- The Crop
Circle Connector is another interesting UFO type site.
- If you have a Java-enabled browser, check out the Chess Page. I played against some
schmoe from Michigan last week.(from NYC) Quite cool, good implentation,
and a good chat method.
- I like Howard Stern. He is funny in a world where people are afraid
to be. Here is the King of All
Media Fan's WWW site. Here is Jackie the Joke-Man's.
- I have found one ok
Seinfeld page, that links to his newsgroup.
- The WWW Speedtrap Registry is cool. Avoid pigs- submit local traps that you hate.
- Here is a funny little site, for the now(thank God!)
defunct Spellman classic
Models Inc. That is from coolguy extraordinaire Adam Curry's Metaverse
(who may be the biggest tool known to man).
