TJ Staff Page: Chris Marvin

Here is my page. I am now a confirmed senior at Trinity, studying philosophy and 20th Century European things. Much to my dismay I received a mailing stating that I had: "too few credits to be considered a senior" in the College. All it took was one call to our oh-so-helpful registrar to straighten things up. A little more of a bio follows: I have been writing for 9 years, and taken part in the production of newspapers for 8. I enjoy skiing, sitting and sleeping. I am a music fanatic, my tastes include reggae, lots of jazz, some classical and the Dead. I like to read. A lot. I suggest Graham Greene and Michael Scott Rohan, though I have been reading some Nabokov and Chekhov this summer. I am also into Cliff Stoll's The Cuckoo's Egg, a true story of comuter espionage and Berkeley. Who knew?
The story of my life? Not enough time, but too much time in the food service biz. I tell ya, it will suck you in. One summer you accept a job as a clerk in a food store, and the next thing you know you're spinning pizzas for the rest of your life! Amazingly enough, though, I have broken out of the rut. I am now gainfully employed for the summer at Siegel & Gale, a corporate imaging specialist. This is one hot firm, if you don't mind me saying. So, NYC is good-- thanks for asking. It treats me well, for the most part, though rents are a killer. I tell ya, the real world can wait, as far as I am concerned. I guess I am coming back this fall. I was considering staying, but finally I have decided to continue my reign of terror at Trin.
Why not check out my Resume? I still may be interested in moving-- I am particular to NYC and The San Fran Metro area, though I could be persuaded into moving back to Philly(my hometown) or the Pacific Northwest. God knows, I would leave Hartford at the drop of a hat.

These are some pics of Jerry, Bob, and Jimi. I love 'em all. Here is another sweet image of a young Jerry, and this is a link to a memorial site. Here's me and Kasia. Here are some links to a couple of interesting sites. I have found some pretty interesting resources, and I would like to add to my links, but I am busy. I know- you don't want to hear it, we're all so busy, but really, I am, moreso than you. Can you tell me if you worked an 82 hour work week last week? I did. I managed to get my resume re-done and I am now happier, though employment would make me ecstatic. . .
The Journal is working on an interactive tour of Trinity's Campus, and Frank and I just completed the development of'The Window,' an Interactive Philosopher's Resource. Look here for more features in the future.
With best wishes from my friend Ted Davis, this is a suggestion that should never be forgotten by those of us at Trinity who get swept away by the Tropical and other magical goings on around campus:
