Global Learning Sites

Since the program began in 1997, more than a dozen Global Learning Sites have been either initiated or proposed. Thus far, sites have been established in almost every continent of the globe.

Included in the summaries are two sites, Rome and San Francisco (pilot), which are not Global Learning Sites but rather global campuses. They have been included here as part of the GLS program for they accomplish the major goal of extending Trinity's educational opportunities beyond Hartford. Also noted are Trinity-sponsored exchange and consortial programs.

[ Status Summary of GLS ]

The world map below displays the location of all current and proposed Global Learning Sites. The existing sites (those with students admitted for the coming academic year) are marked with a solid red dot, while the sites still in the planning stages are marked with a red circle. Current exchange programs have been marked with a green circle; consortial agreements with Trinity are noted with a blue circle.

To receive a brief summary of the status at any given GLS, just click the appropriate city on the map. Also note the special graphs and descriptive text on the 3 sites that have students enrolled for the coming year: Cape Town, Kathmandu, and Trinidad.
