The effects of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001, have been felt throughout our society. Some people experienced the shock of the day’s events first-hand. Others were called into action as volunteers or professionals responding in various ways to the emergency. Others standing farther from the action reflected on the events of the day and their implication for our society. Several Trinity alumni have shared their experiences or their reactions with us, and we are pleased to present them here.

If you have written a first-hand account of the September 11 attacks, or if you have prepared other material about the event and its aftermath that you would like to have considered for publication on this Web site, please forward it to drew.sanborn@trincoll.edu. You must be a Trinity College alumnus/a in order to have your material considered.
