TRINITY WOMEN’S TENNIS FALLS AT WILLIAMS

Williamstown, Mass. - Senior Justine Howe (San Diego, Calif.) won a pivotal three-set match at No. 6 singles to lead the Williams College Ephs to a 7-2 win over the visiting Trinity College Bantams. Williams improves to 2-0 and Trinity drops to 1-2 with its second loss in a row.

Trinity sophomore Diana Dreyfus (Scarsdale, N.Y.) won a thrilling three-set match at the No. 2 singles position, rebounding from a 6-7 defeat in the second set to blank Eph junior Julie Mallory (Littleton, Colo.), 6-0, in the deciding set. Bantam senior co-captain Karen Huebner (Burlington, Mass.) and junior Diana Goldman (Milton, Mass.) posted an 8-6 triumph at No. 2 doubles.
